A private AI assistant that remembers you
Private AI chats usually buy privacy by forgetting. Close the window and the conversation is gone, so next time you start from zero and explain yourself again. Nook takes a different path: a personal AI assistant that is private to you and still remembers what matters.
Why most private AI chats forget
Many private chat modes are temporary by design. Meta's Incognito Chat for Meta AI is described as temporary by default, and DuckDuckGo's Duck.ai keeps recent chats only on your own device. That protects you, but it also means the assistant never gets to know you, and your chats don't follow you from one device to another.
What a personal AI assistant should remember
The useful part of a personal assistant is context: your dog's name, the project you are writing, the way you like answers. Nook keeps short memory facts that you can see in its Memory panel. When it saves something you see "Saved to memory" with an Undo, so nothing is remembered behind your back.
Private to one person
Your Nook workspace belongs to one account: yours. Anyone else who signs in sees that the workspace is private, with no way to chat in it. Your chats are saved to your account, so they are there on your next visit, and you can search them.
